The 65th Annual Emmy Awards for primetime television programs for the year 2012-2013 will be held on September 22 and CBS will be telecasting the event.

Netflix made history by earning the first Primetime Emmy Award nominations for original online only web television. The network was once overlooked and was hit bad by competitors but it came back to joined the path to success. Three of its web series, Arrested Development, Hemlock Grove, and House of Cards, earned nominations. This is going to be a big year for Netflix.
