TayTay got herself all worked up again and just wants everyone to support her and love her and stop talking about her love life, OKAY? It's been a month since the Golden Globes Incident but since she's had time to mourn Man Candy Part 7: British Invasion and now she remembers that she is totally pissed about what Tina Fey and Amy Poehler said about her and Michael J. Fox's son. That was totally unfair!
She told Vanity Fair, supposedly quoting Katie Couric (but really it was Madeline Albright. Oops) "There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women."
That seems kind of harsh, especially since Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have done a lot to advance women's roles in comedy and TV. And really TayTay, one day you will look back and realize they were helping you. But for now, Taylor just wants to be PISSED, because the best way to get over a breakup is to devote all your energy to a new passion.
Obvi Tina and Amy took it like pros. Amy laughed it off and told the Hollywood Reporter, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff." Tina Fey was just like, um... it was a joke?
Cleary Tina Fey and Amy Poehler won this round, but I am excited to see what happens next. Twitter war? Taylor swift will write a song about it? One can only hope.
