Okay, no surprise, I'm a big fan of AMC's The Walking Dead and right now I'm a little torn. The season three finale is less than two weeks away, and sure, I'm excited to see how shit goes down (warning: spoilers and synopsis leaks are already on the internet, so don't go poking around if you don't want to know) but I'm dreading the inevitable loss that my heart will take when I realize I have to wait for season four.
It's a slow, painful process. First it's all "I can't believe that happened!" and then you get to relive moments with your buddies. After discussing different theories that might be revealed in season four, you realize that there aren't going to be any new episodes for a while.
That's when the depression hits.
I've decided to take a trip to denial land and pretend that everything is going to be fine, though. Instead of panicking about who is or isn't going to die, I'll share with you 10 of my favorite The Walking Dead GIFs.
Remember the good old days where Rick rode around on a horse like a bad ass? Remember when walkers then ate said horse?
Damn. I went and made myself sad.
Glenn, you need some water for that burn?
Alright, I cheated a little, this is no where near being a favorite of mine. I just wanted to remind everyone when Andrea started being a ho.
Long before this scene, people started making "Ricktatorship" jokes back in season two, but it wasn't till this moment that I realized two things:
- Season three Rick has come a long way since season one Rick.
- Rick is stressed the fuck out.
To be fair, if I had to lead a group of survivors during the zombie apocalypse for three seasons (or however long in TV time,) I'd probably lose my cool too.
Let us all remember how Lori was was infinitely better at doing the laundry than looking after her own offspring.
I guess this is turning into my 10 favorite moments, as explained through GIFs, but give me a break.
I liked this scene so much because you can tell The Governor is starting to lose that special touch he had with the people, as compared to when we met him earlier. A biter on a leash is as threatening to me as a gun, flamethrower, algebra exam or a rabid Justin Bieber fan in my face, give me a break...
Listen, whatever this man wants, you give it to him. I don't care what your reasons are.
You're probably thinking "Hold up, that's a picture."
No it's not. Look closely . I use to hate Carl almost as I hated Lori, but thank the heavens for season three, because Carl has truly matured. I know (well, I assume) growing up in the zombie apocalypse is tough.
The Governor: YOU SET MY WALKERS ON FIRE.
Milton: I SET YOUR WALKERS ON FIRE.
