Look, I was in a sorority back in college (secret handshake, amirite, ladies?) and we had our share fair of themed parties, both among ourselves and with other Frats. Edward 40-hands, pudding wrestling, rubik cube, Heaven and Hell and a bunch of other themes that I can look fondly back on without worrying about it ruining my run for President of the United States one day.
Anyway, I just learned about the party the boys at Kappa Sigma (we didn't have that at my school, so I'm pretty sure this is just a made up Frat anyway...) and dudes...
We all do bone-headed things in our youth, and sometimes things we mean to come off in a humorous or non-offensive way are actually just, well....racist.
It's pretty clear on our end that this party was no way in shape or form a celebration of Asian culture, which makes us wonder WTF was going on in their ends that when they were planning this party, they all said "Yes, this sounds like a great idea! No one will be offended, definitely!"
What's your take, Insticators?
