Oh, Alex Baldwin. It's like the guy just can't catch a break. First he's caught calling his daughter a thoughtless pig (and subsequently insulting pigs all over the world for being called thoughtless), getting kicked off American Airlines because he couldn't stop playing Words with Friends (I'm guess it was a really intense round he was winning...) and numerous accounts of him attacking paparazzi.
I get that the paps and other media hounds need to show a little respect for celebs, and sometimes are desperate enough to get a story that they purposely antagonize celebs to capture them lashing out. Alec seems to be one celeb who is always a hair trigger away from blowing up.
And it's happened again!
New York Post reporter Tara Palmeri approached Baldwin on February 17th while he was walking his dogs in Manhattan. When she asked Baldwin about a recent lawsuit involving his pregnant wife, he responded by grabbing her arm and saying, "I want to choke you to death."
The New York Post said Palmeri played an audio recording of the actor's threat to police.
Allegedly, Baldwin then turned to African American photographer G.N. Miller and called him "a "coon," (seriously, who uses this word anymore?) "crackhead" and "drug dealer."
You know the tip off to some of this being true is when tweets on the account appear and then disappear faster than your PR team having a conniption. Baldwin tweeted several times about the incident but later deleted them from his account.
Baldwin tweeted this today:
This is the equivalent of saying you're not racist because you have a black friend, which my friends use all the time in reference to me. Which is pretty sad, because I'm only half black. When you're only black friend is only half black, you may need to reassess your life.
