Parks and Recreation on Hiatus

Uh-oh, Parks and Recreation is going on hiatus for three weeks. The Voice and Saturday Night Live will be airing in its place.

Should fans worry? It will return on NBC on November 14 and 21, back to back. Originally The Voice was going to bump Sean Saves the World, which now has been ordered for additional scripts. This schedule shift also has an inherent downside of the November 21 airing, marking the last episode of Parks and Recreation until 2014.

Parks and Recreation has consistently been a ratings headache for NBC so we might be seeing the network switching its attention to new and growing shows. What do you think? Does Parks and Recreation deserve this schedule shift?
